Where we need help

 

👩‍🏫 Teachers / Group Leaders

Lead a small group of children through the VBS rotations. Build relationships, guide discussions, and help children apply what they learn.

🔄 Floaters (Help Where Needed Most)

Flexible helpers ready to jump into crafts, snacks, classroom, or wherever there's a need. Great for adaptable volunteers!

🙋 Check-In & Registration Team

Welcome families, manage attendance sheets, help with name tags and direct families to the right place.

🎶 Worship/Song Team

Help lead motions, dancing, and joyful praise during assemblies. High energy and encouraging!

🎨 Crafts Leaders

Prepare and lead fun, hands-on activities that reinforce the day’s Bible message. Great for creative volunteers!

🎭 Actors/Puppeteers (Skit Team)

Perform in short skits, puppet shows, or dramatic storytelling. Scripts provided. Perfect for expressive personalities!

🎲 Games Leaders

Lead high-energy outdoor or indoor games. Many are messy and exciting! Help kids burn off energy while connecting to the theme.

🙏 Prayer/Decision Team

Available for one-on-one or small group prayer. Help guide children who respond to the gospel message.

🍪 Snack Team

Prepare and distribute simple themed snacks. Ensure tables and allergy guidelines are followed.

🧹 Clean-Up Team

Help with nightly clean-up and post-event tear-down. Essential support!

 🎤 Opening/Closing Assembly Hosts (DJ/MC)

Bring the energy to large group sessions! Includes leading transitions, welcoming kids, introducing songs and skits, and supporting memory verse time.

🩺 Healthcare Team

Be available for minor first aid, monitoring allergies, and offering support in any health situations.

 🎬 Audio/Visual Tech Team

Run slides, music, microphones, and video content for large group sessions.

🧸 Childcare for Volunteers’ Kids

Care for babies and toddlers (0-3 yo) of volunteers during VBS. Calm, nurturing environment.

 🧽 Design & Decorations / Set Assistants

Create and install themed decorations and stage sets before VBS begins. Great for behind-the-scenes help!
